Hanson UMC has the heart to show the love of Jesus in our local community and around the world.  

 

Backpack Blessings

​

We partner with Hanson Elementary school to provide weekend backpack blessings for students who are in need.  The number of students impacted each month varies based on need. 

​

Breaking Bread 

​

Breaking Bread is a community wide outreach opportunity that provides groceries and a meal to neighbors in need. Members of Hanson UMC help to support this vital ministry by volunteering each third Saturday of the month

​

Food Pantry

​

Every 4th Sunday, Hanson UMC collects non-perishable food items to support the local Madisonville Food Pantry.  Some people support this ministry with non-perishables and some give monetary donation.
